Kennedi's Baby Blessing

Kennedi Eve Smith was given a name and a blessing on February 24, by her dad. It was the same weekend that her big brother Dallin was baptized, and so she had many friends and family there to show love and support. She looked absolutely beautiful in her blessing dress made by her grandma Walker, and she was given many special promises in her blessing. Kennedi, you are a beautiful, happy baby that just melts into the arms of whoever holds you, and I never get to hold you at church because everyone else wants you. You smiled for the first time at 2 weeks old, and I know it wasn't just gas =). You have been a blessing in our home, and you will never be neglected or suffer from lack of attention.

Dallin's Baptism

What a special weekend for Dallin! he chose to be baptized on the 23rd of February and had many friends and family there for the special occasion. Grandpas Smith and Walker said the prayers, mom played the piano, and Dad baptized and confirmed him, with uncles Jeff and Daniel in the circle as well. Grandma Walker, William, Grandma Smith, Kim, and Morgan were also there, as well as the Glatt family, the Babbit family, and your entire primary class to support you. You had a lot of friends and family who came to show their love and support. Bishop Betrosch spoke at the end, and said what a thoughtful boy you were, because in the baptism interview, when he asked who would baptize you, you wanted to give everyone a chance who was going to be there. Dallin, you are a smart boy, and have a desire to do what is right. We are proud of you!
