December 3rd became a very special day to us in 2007, as it is the day that Kennedi Eve decided to join our family. She was born at St. Joseph's hospital, down town Denver, exactly 1 month after we made Colorado our new home. She came speedily; exactly 45 minutes after they broke my water. She was born @ 10:56, weighing in 7lbs. 4.11oz - coming in as the second largest Smith baby, second to Ashlynn who holds the Smith family record of largest baby (And very proud of it!) @7lbs. 5oz. Now we are blessed with five little angels (we do have to remind ourselves sometimes that they are all angels =).THE BIG BROTHER:
She's MINE! Peyton is constantly begging, "Hoed! Hoed!" He thinks that all it will take to make Kennedi stop crying is a little love from P-Diddy. He is so sweet and cute with her - I hope he will always play the role of protective BIG brother.THE BIG SISTER:
Ashlynn is a great big sister - she hates to hear Kennedi cry, and when everyone is at school, she is the first to run and pick her up.THE BIGGER BROTHER:
Yes! Another sister to pester! As soon as we had the ultrasound and found out that Kennedi was going to be a girl, Dallin already started planning number six: his 2nd little brother. Woah, hold your horses buddy, we might leave number six for you and your wife.THE BIGGER SISTER:
I'm not sure who's luckier to have Talie for the big sister, Kennedi or me - every morning before school, she loves to pick out Kennedi's outfit for the day and get her dressed. Her very own, live doll! She also will sit with her for hours and tell her stories while Kennedi just sits and stares and smiles at her.THE THREE SMITH HOTTIES:
